Hello!

Hi, I’m Dr. Mel, a chiropractor based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. My passion is helping people feel better in their bodies and their lives by focusing on how stress impacts the nervous system. I use gentle, personalized techniques to help you find relief, reconnect with yourself, and feel more balanced.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and completely supported. I’m not just here to address physical pain—I’m here to help you thrive in every way. And while I take your care seriously, I also like to keep things light with a good dose of humor and friendly banter, to get to know you better and to make your visits enjoyable.

Outside of the office, you will most likely find me in the woods, with my family, or at a coffee shop. I’m deeply spiritual and I am trying to explore and incorporate more of that in my personal life. I believe in celebrating what makes each of us human and focusing on our uniqueness while being rooted in the fact that we are all made of the same stuff, just organized in slightly different ways. I’d love to be part of your journey to feeling your best!

My Story

From a young age, I was the kid who always wanted to help others. Compassion came naturally to me, but so did curiosity—especially about the human body. I remember falling off my bike as a child and asking my mom, “How does our body know when to stop bleeding?” Her answer didn’t satisfy me, so I went to the library and learned about the chemical cascade that sends platelets rushing to an injury. But I kept asking, “How does our body know to do this?” It wasn’t until chiropractic school that I found the answer: innate intelligence—the body’s built-in, self-regulating power.

As a teenager, I experienced the power of innate intelligence firsthand. After a car accident, I began struggling with ocular migraines so severe I couldn’t see. Traditional medicine offered no solutions other than narcotic pain meds, which I knew in my heart weren’t the answer. Then I tried chiropractic care. After just two visits, and allowing that innate intelegence to flow, free of interference my migraines started to subside. Six months later, my menstrual cycle began to regulate, and I lost 15 pounds I’d struggled to shed for years. It wasn’t just pain relief—my whole body was healing.

That experience changed my life. I knew I wanted to help others discover the incredible power their bodies hold and treat them as the whole, interconnected beings they are. I wanted to give hope to those who feel lost in a system that often overlooks the body’s innate intelligence.

Now, as a tonal chiropractor, I’m dedicated to doing just that. My mission is to guide others on their healing journeys and show them how amazing their bodies truly are. It’s not just about fixing pain—it’s about unlocking potential, restoring balance, and helping people thrive. That’s what health and wellness mean to me.
